Math Calculations – Math Calculations is a mathematics exam. The testing time will be determined and announced by the PILOTS staff.
- Contestants will be separated into junior high (7th-8th grade) and senior high (9th-12th grade).
- Each contestant will be given a test, scratch paper, and a pencil and will be assigned a seat. Senior high contestants will be provided with a calculator.
- Contestants will then complete the test in the allotted time. If a student finishes early, they may quietly turn in their test and leave the room.
- When the time is up, papers will be collected, and tests will be scored by the judges.
- Winners will be selected according to the number of problems they answer correctly.
- Students are encouraged to work quickly, but they must ensure their answers are clear and decipherable. Any answers that are not clear will be marked wrong.
